Praxis provides training to all Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services
funded substance use disorder treatment programs on:
• Harm Reduction
• HIV/AIDS Care Integration
• Medication-Assisted Treatment
• Opioid Overdose Prevention
• Viral Hepatitis Care Integration
Praxis trainings address the most pressing needs in our communities with innovative, evidence-based techniques and the latest research from the field. We will modify trainings to focus on specific content or populations upon request. Contact Praxis to discuss your training needs or request a training.
Please see our upcoming regional training schedule. We encourage smaller agencies with limited staff, new staff members in larger agencies, or large agencies with many locations to attend. The trainings will be the same as our regular Praxis trainings, and those who attend will be able to get Continuing Education certificates upon completion.
Please note: We have not scheduled Boston trainings yet; when we do, we will post the registration information.

Training of Trainers 2019
Our upcoming “Training of Trainers” will focus on how to train communities and programs on opioid overdose prevention and connect them to pharmacies. Participants will be given the information and tools necessary to become trainers on opioid overdose prevention within their community. We expect that trainers make a commitment to conduct at least one training within six weeks of the training, participate in future learning activities with their cohort, help trainers remain current in their knowledge, and continue to polish their training skills.
Please note the following:
- Priority for registration will be given to BSAS funded treatment providers, non-profits, and community organizations.
- No Narcan will be provided after the training.
