January 2017—Erika Simon, Senior Multimedia Producer, is presenting during the “Promising Futures: Inaugural Peer to Peer Exchange” conference in Reston, VA from January 25-26.

She is presenting a session on “Storytelling for Impact” from 1-2:30 pm on Wednesday, January 25. She will discuss reasons for telling stories, audiences, what makes a good story and a good character, building a story concept, and ethics of storytelling. Simon is also leading a conversation on storytelling from 3:15-4:15 on Thursday, January 26.

The conference is sponsored by the Family Violence Prevention & Services Program of the Family and Youth Services Bureau in the Administration for Children and Families at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
